  • Sketch of site plan. Show location of any existing buildings, the location and orientation of the new house, any dams/water courses, significant trees, approximate dimensions showing distance of the new house from boundaries and existing buildings, also show approx. size of existing structures. Please show the approximate fall of the land.

  • Is the site located in a residential area?

  • Please provide a brief description of the neighboring house(s) i.e. single storey brick dwelling

  • Please sketch the outline of the neighboring house(s), showing the location of windows and labeling as bed, bath etc. Show the setbacks of the neighboring houses, distance from the front boundary and the distance from the common boundary.

  • Please take photos of the neighboring house(s) showing the side of the common boundary

  • Are there any health risks present on site? i.e. deep excavations, dams, mine shafts etc.

  • Photos of potential risks

  • Will excavation of depths greater than 1M be required?

  • Is water for drinking and washing available on site?
