Site Managers Weekly Inspection

Is suitable access and egress provided for the site with adequate signage at the main entrance?

Are the Welfare/offices, clean and tidy with all the waste removed?

Are all fire extinguishers suitable and within date? (i.e. tested within the last year)

Is the name of the first aider for the site displayed? Has the first aid box been checked, adequately stocked and all items with date?

Have the operatives signed in daily?

Have all the operatives been inducted. Do the operatives hold a current CSCS/CPSC Card?

Is there a suitable level of housekeeping within the work areas of the site? (Plots clean and tidy, no materials lying about, dust extraction being used, bucket changing areas, chains and slings hung up)

Environmental issues – do we have to protect trees/watercourse. Are chemical stored in bunds or drip trays

Fuel areas -Are spill kits fully stocked and in place /Drip trays empty of water.

Are the plant registers on site up to date and all items on site accounted for? This includes checking subcontractors plant registers!!!

Is there suitable protection around excavations

Has safe pedestrian access, segregated from traffic been provided for operatives on site?

Does all work being carried out on site have a suitable method statement and risk assessment? Have operatives been briefed and signed RAMS

Are all permits issued in the correct manner with all sections fully completed?

Is all PPE suitable, sufficient and being worn by all operatives on site

During your inspection, have you found any hazards or unsafe work practices that have required your intervention that are not included above?
