LIFT DETAILS

LUBRICATION CHECKS

  • Lubricate all hinges on Chairlift

  • Lubricate Swivel Seat / Safety Carriage Up and Down Hinges

  • Vacuum and Lubricate Chain Drive / Rack and Pinion / Clean Aluminium Track with Dry Cloth

  • Lubricate Internal Rollers inside Carriage

  • Lubricate Foot Rest Hinges

  • Lubricate Safety Belt Joints / Check for damage and Is Safety Belt locked in closed position?

  • Lubricate Folding Armrests

  • Inspect Training Cable for wear

SAFETY SWITCHES - DO THEY OPERATE CORRECTLY

  • Foot Rest Trip Switches both directions (Safety Edges)

  • Carriage Safety Pads upper / lower

  • Swivel Seat Switch

  • Key Switch on / off

  • Armrest directional switches ( up / down constant pressure type)

STAIR LIFT CHECKS

  • Check all Floor Fastening Anchorage Points

  • Park Carriage at top and bottom post editions, Are the charging points working?

  • Park Lift away from charging points, Does it Beep?

  • Turn Off and check battery voltage level, is this correct?

  • Is fault code display working?

  • Is a warning for load fitted to stair lift ( one person 127 KG)

  • Do the remote control units operate correctly? ( Change batteries every six months)

  • Will Stair Lift stop automatically at ends of travel on normal stopping limits?

  • Is the brake stopping the carriage correctly?

  • Will the final limit switches operate correctly?

  • Does the swivel seat lock in the 45 - 90 degree position and is it mechanically locked in these positions?

  • Switch off power supply, Does the Stair Lift beep? ( Turn off isolation switch, Does Beeping Stop?)

  • Is over speed Governor working correctly?

  • Will Safety Gear engage correctly?

  • Are there electrical diagrams on site?

  • Is the customer operating manual on site ( Fault Codes)

  • Is there a hand winding wheel on site?

  • Will the hand winding wheel work correctly

  • Is there a warning sign fitted to the hand winding wheel (not to be left connected)
