Is a site & task specific Safe Work Method Statement (SWMS) available for the work being undertaken?

Are licencing requirements outlined in the SWMS?

Licences (e.g. electrical, building, plumbing)

Permits (e.g. hot work, heights, confined space)

Have the risk controls outlined in the SWMS and permits been implemented?

Is PPE as specified in the contractor’s SWMS being worn?

Are barricading and signage outlined in the SWMS installed where necessary to provide an exclusion zone to the public?

Are relevant Safety Data Sheets (SDSs) outlined in the SWMS, available for all chemicals used and/or stored on site by the contractor and within five years from the date of issue?

Have the workers maintained good housekeeping standards and ensured walkways/paths clear of equipment & leads?

Have the workers left the workplace & surrounding areas clean & secure for staff & customers/residents upon completion of works?
