TELE-HANDLER PER-SHIFT INSPECTION REPORT

PRE-SHIFT INSPECTION: Before use each day or at the beginning of each shift, Tele-handler shall be given a "walk-round" visual inspection as a daily requirement before operating this machine.

  • DAILY INSPECTION CHECK LIST

  • BEFORE ENTERING OPERATOR'S CAB:

  • 1. Windows & mirror(s) are clean and undamaged; and properly adjusted for operator's view.

  • 2. Engine oil Level

  • 3. Hydraulic oil level

  • 4. Air filter restriction indicator. if needle is in red area filter is clogged and element must be cleaned or changed.

  • 5. Tire and wheels.

  • 6. *Heater, defroster and windshield wiper.

  • 7. *Operating lights and rotating beacon.

  • 8. Voltmeter should show 13.5 to 14 Volts.

  • 9. Observe Oil Pressure Gauge (Low idle 10 psi / 69 kPa)

  • WHEN ENGINE WARMS TO OPERATING RANGE, CHECK:

  • 10. Transmission fluid level.

  • 11. Service brake and parking brake.

  • 12. Forward and reverse travel.

  • 13. Each of the gear ranges.

  • 14. Steering (in both directions) with engine at low idle. Check in each steering mode.

  • 15. Horn and back-up alarm. Must be audible from inside operator's cab with engine running.

  • 16. All boom and attachment functions - operate smoothly and correctly.
