2.0 MHE Files

  • 2.1 Are the MHE files tidy and in order as per procedures<br>

  • 2.2 Are the file service sheets completed correctly

  • 2.3 Are the LOLER Certificates and Fire trace CERTS in place and in place

  • 2.4 Is the PUWER reg displayed in the workshop

  • 2.5 is there any "B" defects over 30 days for MHE equipment

3.0 MHE Standards

  • 3.1 Is there clear evidence that cleaning and painting is being carried out on the MHE fleet to maintain an acceptable standard inline with the contract .

  • 3.2 does the workshop have the Junghenrich or Toyota Procedures board in place

  • 3.3 Is the workshop housekeeping acceptable

  • 3.4 Are the damage parts made available for the regional Engineer to view if required

  • 3.5 Do the trucks have the VM number stencilled on them

  • 3.7 Summary check on fleet standards and image is it acceptable

  • 3.8 check a number of trucks for correct speed settings ensuring all the settings are the same

5.0 Battery Areas

  • 5.1 Check and observe any battery issues found on the day which will effect the MHE equipment

Operational Checks

  • Do the Buy the hour and PAYG trucks are being managed and identification stickers are fittec

Health &Safety

  • Is the contractor COSHH Compliant

  • Do the engineers have PPE equipment available such as googles, gloves, ear defenders etc
