  • Has the internals been installed less than 1.5 metres from a water heater?

  • Is there the correct separation between the NTD enclosure and the PSU? 65 mm if the PSU is mounted on the right side of the NTD 50mm if the PSU is on the left side of the NTD enclosure. 70mm if the NTD is above the PSU.

  • Is there enough clearance around the PSU to open the battery door to 90 degrees?

  • If the PSU has not been installed is the labeled side of the power module facing the outside of the enclosure?

  • Has the excess premises cable been stored correctly and the fibre retaking clip been used?

  • If a FIC has been used, has a furcation tube been used"

  • Has the NTD identifier label been attached to the NTD below the LEDs?

  • Power outlet as supplied by the end user is within reach and appears visually safe? NB: NBN equipment may be plugged into a wall socket, extension cord or power board. Ref: NBN-TE-CTO-2021 v 1.0

  • Is the area clean and tidy, with no loose cable hanging out?
