Airbourne precautions

  • Swabbing completed on admission if previous flagged

  • Is there documentation such as a note for Infectious disease in progress notes or safety alert form

  • Is there a PPE station in easy access to the MRO room?

  • Is there disinfectant wipes available

  • Ask the patient if a Information leaflet was provided (if appropiate)

  • All clinical waste bin is disposed of in a Clinical waste bin (ideally a C64 bin)

  • Appropiate cleaning procedures in place (Ask enviromental staff if available)

  • Housekeeping not aware of MRO
