Prior to entry, testing of atmospheric conditions by a competent person utilising calibrated equipment is required. Atmospheric testing will include: Oxygen, H2S, CO, and LEL. A competent confined space sentry/standby person shall be located outside of a confined space at all times when the confined space is occupied. The sentry shall be trained in atmospheric monitoring and will be supplied with means of communication with entrants.<br><br>Critical Risk ref - 3.8
