Petrol Filling Station

  • Policy
    Tesco colleagues are responsible for cleaning shelving on a Clean As You Go basis. Shelving should be free from spillages and debris.

  • Does every cabinet have the correct temperature indicator clearly and correctly displayed and positioned in every module? (Max score 2)

  • Correct Indicators: Small 5 Indicator = Chilled food, Small 4 = Meat fish & poultry, Small f = Freezers. Correct positiobing: Multi-deck cabinets, & freezer cabinets with glass doors = On the shelf edge stripping on 2nd shelf from top on right hand side module. Well cabinets = On front of glass/plastic riser inside freezer at center of each module.

  • (critical) Products checked in the sandwich/snack cabinet are within their date code?

  • Please spend three minutes checking date codes. Concentrate on items at the back of the shelving and in areas with evidence of poor rotation. If ANY items are found out of code this question should be marked as non compliant.
