IBC Weekly Site Inspection Checklist

All employees/ subcontractors have received site specific induction training

Is all work being done in accordance with Safe Work Method Statement (SWMS)?

First aid and emergency equipment in place and procedures displayed

Amenities with clean drinking water and toilets clean, soap, towels, toilet paper available and rubbish bins

Site security 'NO ENTRY- Report to Site Office signs in posted at all access points

Barriers, fences or hoardings secured

Safe access and egress to and from work areas; no walkway obstructions

Fire extinguishing equipment available, appropriate for use and maintained

Safety signs and PPE signs posted at entry points and in relevant work areas eg. Hard hats, hi vis, appropriate footwear

Work areas are free from obstructions

Work areas have adequate lighting

Sharp edges covered ie. reo bars, star pickets, holes, penetrations covered

Scaffolds have been erected in accordance with the manufacturers specifications and done so by a competently trained person.

All live edges have perimeter rails/ signage installed and compliant

Platform ladders must be used or except under task specific SWMS

Permit to Work system in place with all relevant trades covered

Plant ID register carried out and current for all plant on site

All plant operators are competently trained and have the relevant licenses or competences

All plant have maintenance records, risk assessments, SWMS, logbooks and have completed IBC's daily plant pre-start

Workers near mobile plant have been separated by temporary barriers

All power tools and extension leads are in good condition and have a current 3 month test and tag

All site RCD's including Site sheds, temporary boards have completed monthly testing and tagging with trip tested daily

Are all extension leads are elevated off the floor by insulated stands or hooks

Is the Power line 'NO GO ZONE ' highlighted and being observed

Register for hazardous substances and dangerous goods kept up to date

MSDS register for hazardous substances on site and available at main First Aid location

Adequate handling and storage of hazardous substances and dangerous goods

Risk assessment and MSDS for hazardous substances included in SWMS

Noise risks assessed and controlled

Explosive powered tools have all controls, MSDS included in SWMS

Manual handling aids are being used when required

All sediment and erosion controls are in place

Are all sediment and erosion controls clean

Stockpiles are bundled and protected

All washout areas are operating as required

Tree Protection Zone has been implemented and maintained
