Products in the room are replenished and straightened (products must be replaced if missing/used:

  • Laundry order form

  • Coffee set up - clean, replenished

  • Glassware

  • Stationery and envelopes, if applicable

  • Notepads and pens

  • Collateral and brochures

  • Products returned to original position UNLESS guest has obviously arranged items to their liking; items should be straightened in new location

Bedding is properly serviced, clean, and in good condition:

  • Pillows - outside of all pillow cases

  • Bedding - both sides of bed scarf/bedspread/comforter/duvet, if applicable

  • Bedding - top side of decorative top sheet

  • Bedding - fold down each layer to the bottom quarter of the bed and check each layer (until bottom/fitted sheet)

Carpet/floor is clean:

  • Check carpet, carpet base, floor and transition strips

Balcony/patio furniture is clean and straightened:

  • Check balcony, ceiling, furniture, lights, patio, railings, and walls

Odor is W Scent with no malodors:

  • Check to ensure that the room/suite odor is W Scent; no other scent is present

Trash cans are emptied:

  • Trash cans are emptied and left with clean liners (Plastic Liners are NOT acceptable)

Bath amenities/terry replaced/straightened; service must minimally include:

  • Bud vase flowers maintained, if provided

  • Hair dryer cord properly coiled and neatly placed

  • Glasses replenished, spot free, and placed on coaster

  • Towels replaced to original stock

  • Bathroom area rugs fresh and neatly in place

  • Robes available for guest

  • Bathroom tissue tipped

  • Bathroom amenities - refreshed if 2/3 depleted (acceptable if a new set is given in addition to keeping the used amenities)

  • Bathroom amenities - neatly arranged

Vanity, sink, mirrors, cabinets and drawers are clean:

  • Check cabinets, caulking, doors, drawers, hardware, mirrors, shelf, sink, tissue box/cover and vanity

Toilet, tub/shower and shower curtain are clean:

  • Rub your hand on bathtub bottom to check for dirt build-up

  • Rub your hand on and under soap dishes to check for soap residue

  • Rub your hand on shower walls/surround to check for soap residue

  • Rub the inside of the shower curtain and/or liner together to check for build up

  • Check both sides of liner and curtain; pay attention to bottom seam

  • Check bathtub, bidet, caps, caulking, grout, hinges, hooks, lid, liner, seat, shower curtain, shower doors, shower walls/surround, soap dishes, tank and toilet

Bathroom floor is clean

  • Check base, corners, edges, floor, grout, threshold and transition strip

Personalized Touch added during Day service

  • Style must add a personalized touch during the day service based on in-room cues
