  • Are material drop zones and/or racking clean and orderly? If labels exist, are they in good condition and legible?

  • Are racks, mobile equipment, and cabinets free of stickers, calendars, pictures, postings, etc.?

  • Are all material racks in good condition? All crossbars and shelving are in good condition; no indication of damage?

  • Is material located in correct containers and designated locations by part numbers and neatly stacked?

  • Is the WIP and/or racking within the capacity limits?

  • Are all hoses and cords hung appropriately (i.e., would not be considered a trip hazard)?

  • Do all stations have SWI's with PPE mandates? If they exist, our operators following the PPE mandates?

  • Overall, how does the area look from a scale to 1 to 10, with 10 denoting a true example of World Class Housekeeping?
