W&D - General

• 1. Check spindle firm fit.

• 2. Check safety devices.

• 3. Clean the machine of adherent oil, grease, dirt & paper dust.

• 4. Vacuum-clean the fan filters in the control cabinets or replace them.

• 5. Check the green chain guides for signs of wear and clean them.

• 6. Check the driving chain at the tensioning box for tension.

• 7. Check all chains and chain wheels for signs of wear.

• 8. Check function of the adjustment device of the guide brackets.

• 9. Check the brake brush for wear.

• 10. Perform visual inspection of the dam rollers for damage.

• 11. Visual inspection of the toothed belts, suction belts and transport belts for wear, replace if necessary.

• 12. Check rubber coating of the cross conveyor's rollers for wear.

• Comments:

W & D - Envelope Feeder

• 1. Perform visual inspection of the can roller for damage.

• 2. Check the revolving springs for tension and fatigue. To this purpose, the gripper fingers have to be swiveled manually in order to check the tension of torsion springs.

• 3. Visual inspection of the vacuum suction cups & grippers for wear.

• 4. Visual inspection of the transport belts for wear.

• 1. Blow off the machine w/compressed air for cleaning.

• 2. Visual inspection of the transport belts for wear.

• 3. Check the mini worm gear motor for leaks.

• 2. Clean the sponge in the water reservoir.
