Purpose

  • The purpose of this observation is:

    a) To ensure all Co-Provider Instructors/Trainers are adhering to Training Requirements as per the ABC Partnership Agreement
    b) To ensure all Co-Provider Instructors/Trainers are delivering training/assessment as per the ABC session plan & Training & Assessment Strategy

Scope

  • The scope of this observation is limited to the examination and evaluation of activities undertaken by the Instructor/Trainer, in relation to conforming to the ABC Training & Assessment Observation

Observation Criteria

Training & Assessment Observation

  • Student’s provided evidence of previous SOA if applicable to course type

  • Student’s provided evidence of completed pre-course learning if applicable to course type

  • Work Health & Safety requirements carried out <br>I.e emergency exit, evacuation procedures, facility overview

  • Government distancing requirements were maintained

  • Training/assessment was delivered as per the ABC session plan & Training & Assessment Strategy

  • Instructor displayed current knowledge on industry guidelines and practices

  • Instructor displayed current knowledge on teaching and learning practices

  • Assessments were observed to be conducted fairly

  • The duration was adequate for the course type and group size
