    For this observation assessment the trainee is asked to handle & restrain a horse for hoof procedures; use farriery tools to perform basic hoof care; remove and/or replace shoes and clinch nails; clean & store equipment; dispose of waste according to organisation procedures; record relevant information according to workplace procedures.

3. Clenching of nails
