The first member of staff on site in the morning will, immediately upon opening up the premises, carry out the following checks, to ensure the facility is safe to open to the general public. If there is any non conforming items they must be made safe and uploaded to the Corrective Action Log located within the #DM Folder on the Shared Drive.

Daily AM Building Checks - Before Opening to Customers

• Carry out perimeter Inspection of building and car park before opening up

• Unlock entry door and disable the Intruder alarm

• Switch on all relevant lighting

• Fire Panel Inspection - NO FAULTS

• Unlock all internal doors

• Collect Duty Manager Mobile and Radio

• Walk the site to ensure there have been no issues over night

• All escape routes clear Record daily check in SAFE QMS - DO - Section 2 Fire & Evacuation - Section 12 Evacuation Fire Doors & Fire Exits

• AED Inspection - NO FAULTS - Ready to use - Located behind Reception - Contains all items detailed on list inside AED case.

• Evacuation Bag Inspection - Located Behind Reception - Contains all items detailed on SIMP located inside bag

• Ensure access control systems are fully operationally

• Sauna and Steam Room Turn on procedure completed

• Ensure Dumbbells are evenly distributed throughout gym

• Issue float to first receptionist

• Issue out keys and radios to early Cleaner

• Turn on centres TV's
