Morning Checks - Set for success

  • Is it clear at breakfast who has paid for breakfast?

  • Is booking notes being used for bed types, pets (are the charges added), arrival times etc. (Use the Activity report in HLS) - ensure all rooms are correctly set with dog packages, extras & room setup

  • Have any early check-ins and late check outs been noted and paid for?

  • Check bookings for virtual cards or agent payment so you know which guests must provide their own cards on check in to charge to room. (Use the Activity report in HLS) - Are they being clearly mark on registration cards

  • Check which arrivals don't have the guest actual email address (an agent masked email is no good to us).<br>Ask each guest to join our database for news and offers (email opt in should be ticked on their HLS profile).

  • Departing guests – are all bills settled before departure, are F&B tabs paid? Nobody should leave without payment being made!

  • All arrivals should already be paid in full, charge any bookings that are still to be paid prior to arrival

  • Check guests in as they arrive, if they cancel late process them as a late cancellation and charge, if they are a no show by the time you close for the night process them as a no show and charge.

  • Are registration cards being printed?

  • Where are the completed registration cards being stored? (This is for charge backs)

  • Where are the reg cards being stored in the office (6 Years)

  • All check-ins completed on the computer and registration cards printed and ready?

Check In
