  • <br>Clear signage advising who to contact in an emergency and current location is in place behind each entry door to a fire corridor.

  • Corridor is well illuminated and all lights are operating.<br>

  • Corridor is free from any wet/dry spill or visible hazard (Check ceilings and walls for signs of stain, leakage, failing or falling objects, tiles, lights, fixtures etc.)<br>

FIRE DOORS

  • Lockset operating correctly, no signs of wear and tear (easy to open)<br>

  • Door closes fully<br>

  • Door Self closes without assistance<br>

  • Locks and handles operating smoothly and freely<br>

  • Door set is free from oil leaks<br>

  • Door free from bowing, twisting, any damage<br>

  • Door frames anchored to walls, free from any damage<br>

GUIDANCE: All 'Unsatisfactory issues are to be immediately raised with the Duty Manager / CX Lead and either the Facilities Manager or Assistant Facilities Manager
