  • NOTE:

    STORAGE OF JACKS
    1. If the jack is stored with the legs removed, the body should be placed upright.
    2. Every six months, pump up the ram and then lower it to check that the jack is fully operational.
    3. When jacks are stored in hot climates, it is recommended that functional checks are made every month.

  • • A SERVICE = 12 WEEKS

  • 1. Check level of oil in reservoir when the ram is in the down position and top up if necessary. If different jack oil is used the reservoir must be drained completely before refilling.

  • 2. Check pumps for correct operation.

  • 3. Check jack for leaks, if there is any leakage tighten or replace seal as necessary.

  • 4. Visually inspect legs, castor wheels and transportation wheels and renew components where necessary.

  • 5. Lubricate and grease all nipples.

  • • B SERVICE = ANNUALLY

  • 1. Check level of oil in reservoir when the ram is in the down position and top up if necessary. If different jack oil is used the reservoir must be drained completely before refilling.

  • 2. Check pumps for correct operation.

  • 3. Check jack for leaks, if there is any leakage tighten or replace seal as necessary.

  • 4. Visually inspect legs, castor wheels and transportation wheels and renew components where necessary.

  • 5. Lubricate and grease all nipples.

  • 6. Remove Jack legs if applicable.

  • 7. Flush out reservoir and refill oil.

  • 8. Check SWL decal is legible.

  • 9. Assemble legs to body if removed.

  • 10. Apply Safe Working Load (jack aircraft) and ensure satisfactory operation no leaks and jacks supports axle without sinking.
