  • 1. Check level of oil in reservoir when the ram is in the down position and top up if necessary. If different jack oil is used the reservoir must be drained completely before refilling.

  • 2. Check pumps for correct operation.

  • 3. Check jack for leaks, if there is any leakage tighten or replace seal as necessary.

  • 4. Check condition of wheels and Tyres.

  • 5. Inflate Tyres to correct pressure.

  • 6. Lubricate wheel bearings and swivel points.

  • 7. Lubricate fork lift travel wheel bearings.

  • 8. Check framework for damage.

  • 9. Check towing lug for damage.

  • 10. Check condition of jib and hook.

  • 11. Check condition of lift chain and hook/cable.

  • 12. Lubricate fork roller bearings.

  • 13. Lubricate tilt screw threads and check for movement.

  • 14. Check wheel retaining strap for wear or damage.

  • 15. Check condition of safety and instruction decals. (SWL)
