  • In the areas inside and outside of Production room "A", are the pallets staged in a neat and organized manner to avoid the loading of the wrong bottles?

  • In the areas inside and outside of Production room "B", are the pallets staged in a neat and organized manner to avoid the loading of the wrong bottles?

5.03 Trailer Loading Procedures (Before loading the trailer)

  • 4.2 Forklift Operator and/or loader will verify that the trailer being loaded coincides with the part number on the Pick Ticket; if special loading procedures are required a sheet describing the loading procedure will be handed to the forklift driver. (Refer to SOP# 5.11 Intensive Care Inspection Shipping Warehouse)​

  • 4.3 The forklift driver and/or loader will verify that the correct neck/bottle is staged for shipment. ​<br><br>

  • 4.4 The forklift driver and/or loader will verify the proper stacking pattern according to the Loading diagrams

  • 4.5 The forklift driver and/or loader will then proceed to complete the Trailer Loading Sheet (5.04) before they begin loading. The following information must be recorder clearly on log from each pallet-production dates including shift, corresponding Bag/Box number, customer name. This information will allow the plant to maintain traceability in the event of a product recall.

  • 4.6 The forklift driver and / or loader shall inspect production for proper strapping tension, damaged bottles, boxes or bags prior to loading. Damaged product will be placed in the hold area for disposition. Notify QC inspector she or he will fill out the appropriate information on the hold tag

  • 4.6 Does the forklift driver and / or loader know what action to take when damaged product is found ?

5.03 Trailer Loading Procedure (Inside the Trailer)

  • 4.7 All stacks or pallets must be properly lined up

  • 4.8 All rows must be stacked neatly and tight, however the bottles must be handled with care so as not to cause damage.

  • 4.9 The load must be stacked as closely to the backdoors as possible without smashing product or forcing the product on the trailer

  • 4.10 If there is excess space that could cause the load to shift a load bar must be used.

  • 4.11 All shipments of primary packaging (bottles) shall have a tamper evident seal applied to the trailer (except LTL). The seal shall be placed on the trailer by the driver and documented on the BOL
