Quality Checklist

Framing

  • All interior door sizes and swings are marked and measured

  • All strapping and hardware is in place per engineers plan

  • Confirm all header sizes match engineer plan

  • All frame work and punch are completed

  • Doors have temporary construction locks installed

  • Weather stripping is in place at exterior doors

  • Verify tempered window locations

  • Verify drywall unit is located in accessible location (front of house ideal)

  • Safety rails are in place at stairs

  • All municipal inspections are completed or scheduled

  • All chases have fire blocking in place and edges sealed

  • Caulk, seal, foam, has been completed

Mechanical

  • Plumbing, HVAC, gas, low voltage rough are completed

  • Pest tubes are installed and properly terminated on exterior

  • Confirm selections/upgrades that may contain any mechanical options

  • Confirm HVAC supplies and returns match manual J

  • Jumper ducts in place at bedrooms

  • T stat wires are in place and have blocking. Spray location on floor

  • HVAC line set is strapped to framing in wall and penetration sealed

  • Condensate line in place and penetration sealed

  • Secondary condensate line located over a window

  • Mending plate at top of wall both floors at HVAC line set has tape

  • All bath fans in place, duct taped to housing with ANSI tape, terminated to exterior

  • Dryer duct in place. Box dropped to floor. Length < 35ft (45s are 2.5ft and 90s are 5ft)

  • Tubs/shower pans are set in concrete

  • Water lines in exterior walls, attic, or insulated floors have insulation around pipes

  • Nail guards in place where all water/drain lines pass through wall top/bottom plates

  • Washing machine box in place and secured to framing

  • Hose bibs in place and blocked

  • Low volt box has electrical whip

  • Confirm low volt locations match plan and all drops accounted for

  • Confirm electrical plans match rough in

  • No switches behind doors

Exterior

  • All mechanical penetrations are foamed

  • All plumbing boots are in place. Stacks painted black

  • Roofing free of torn shingles or any defects

  • All house wrap in place, taped, secure

  • All windows and doors are taped

  • Any damaged window glass has been ordered with supplier

  • All extra framing material has been disposed or returned

  • Exterior finishes are written on house wrap (stone, siding, brick, etc.)

  • Confirm all elevations match plan

  • Jobsite is clean and ready for siding install
