Any contact made between DM and group leader needs to be filmed/recorded (guard can do this if requested).

Break glass procedure should be followed, ensure DM is contacted. Where is break glass kit? Explain the procedure? Contact police and NRMA first and if unable to attend in timely manner then follow procedure and break glass. If owner of vehicle/parent is present ensure they sign a waiver indemnifying Westfield of responsibility for damage.

A distressed female approaches you and informs she saw a man dressed as a woman using the female amenities, she informs you that the person entered the bathroom, used the toilet and left immediately. What should you do A. If the customer wishes to file a complaint you should escort her to CMO or Concierge desk or call a duty manager to attend location. Treat the complaint as serious and do not advise the customer there is nothing we can do. If the POI has simply used the bathroom and left and is not acting suspiciously or posing any threat of sexual harassment than there is no reason for security to approach.

Respond immediately with First Aid kit and an AED. Be cautious of use of an AED on an escalator as metal may conduct electricity. Request another guard to bring privacy screens and if possible move the male off the escalator. Contact 000 and keep duty managers informed throughout

  • RANDOM ESCORTS<br><br>What is a random escort ?<br><br>On a random basis, security officers may escort concierges to the desk or car park staff to the machines or banks. They should vary the route always staying in a safe area covered by CCTV and passing the fewest blind spots and exits. <br><br>Random Escorting to Workstations: Should consist of at least 4-5 escorts per month.For Example:<br><br>- 4-5 Days in a row<br>- 1 day per week,weekends only <br>- Tuesday and Saturdays one week and Wednesday and Thursday the week after etc.<br><br>The best process is a combination of the above assuring that there is no distinguishing routine. <br><br>The Risk and Security Manager should keep a register of escorts for National Security Audit purposes..
