  • Ethers and other peroxide formers are dated when received, when opened, and disposed of within one year or expiration date (which ever comes first)

Basic Biosafety

  • Posses an active Biohazard Use Authorization (BUA)

  • Biosafety Cabinet is certified and/or disinfected as stated by BUA

  • Vacuum flasks correctly labeled / in secondary containers / in-line filter / disinfected correctly

  • PPE used in BLS II and above

Chemical Waste

  • Disposed of through EH&S (no disposal through evaporation, drain, trash)
