Hazardous Chemicals
Task: Inspect all cupboards, storage areas, containers to see if there are any hazardous chemicals held in theworkplace.
Ensure to check that original containershavemanufacturers label, decanted containers are labelled with name, risk and safety instructions.
NOTE: Consumer products are those that are packed primarily for use by a household consumer and are used in a manner consistent with normal household use and itis reasonably foreseeable that the chemical will be used in a workplace only in a quantity that is consistent with household use; and in a way that is consistent with household use; and in a way that is incidental to the nature of the work carried out by a worker.
