Casual lease inspection

  • Confirm the lessee has $20 m PLB

  • Counter tops are no greater than 1 meter

  • Stability of any fittings and fixtures are adequate

  • Equipment is set up within the designated area

  • Do parts of the fixtures which are below the line of sight causes a potential trip hazard

  • All extension leads are required to be on the floor, an appropriate cover is used. Taping of cores is not allowed

  • All electrical appliances are tagged by an electrician and are current for the type of device and it’s application

  • Is the pathway around the equipment/display clear from any obstructions/hazards

  • The appropriate clearance still exists for sprinkler heads, smoke detectors (>500mm)

  • No equipment that has not been authorised (or not on run sheet) is being used

  • Power boards are not overloaded and double adaptors and power boards with out ELCB are not used
