Method Steps

  • 1. Receive assignment from supervisor

  • 2. Ensure Reefer Unit is running or will start. After verification shut refer unit off during the loading process.

  • 3. Verifies rail safety chock has been applied to car.

  • 4. Ensures back door of rail car is closed and that all pins are locked.

  • 5. Verifies blue rail loading light is on

  • 6. Open the door of the rail car<br><br><br><br>

  • 7. Put ramp in the rail car

  • 8. Fill out inspection sheet and all information needed to complete rail packet

  • 9. Verify product on dock and load according to load diagram

  • 10. Continue loading car until order is fulfilled

  • 11. Fill airbags up to the minimum specifications and not to exceed maximum specifications (6-10 PSI)<br>

  • 12. Pulls ramp and puts it in designated area<br><br><br><br>

  • 13. Close rail car door<br>

  • 14. Associate starts the reefer unit
