Noise<br>Key noisy activities to check are: Saw cutting, Hydro excavation, vacuum trucks, Rockbreaking / Jackhammers.<br>Noise barriers are required around these works.<br>360 degree barriers are required wherever possible. Where not practical, focus protection on occupied structures.<br>Check the operation of mufflers and sound barriers attached to equipment. Engine covers should be closed during operation.

Vibration<br>Rock breaking, piling, excavation and compaction are key risk activities.<br>Confirm distances from heritage structures.<br>Is monitoring being undertaken where required for sensitive buildings.

Light<br>Any lighting for site operations should be angled so that light is not discharged towards adjacent occupied buildings. It keeps people awake. Are we using low energy LED lights?

Contaminated Soil

Archaeology<br>Has the archaeologist been informed if w are working around known archaeological sites?<br>Has work stopped in the event of an accidental discovery? Has the find been protected from wind and rain? 10m exclusion zone required.
