  • The conditions of the extension and hook element arrow are good

  • Triangles, swivels, pins and other holding accessories are in position

  • The counterweights are in place and fixed correctly.

4. Operating Checks

  • All the crane's safety devices are working

  • The electrical equipment is not contaminated by oil, grease or water.

  • All the crane stabilisation checks work

  • All the alarms work

  • The emergency stops work

  • Correct pressure is maintained in the pneumatic control system.
