Asset Inspection

  • Check Switchboard Room for integrity, clearances around equipment, reduced access, exit doors operation, heat build up and ventilation.

  • Perform full visual inspection on asset and confirm compliant with Australian Wiring Rules. Confirm inverter is sealed and there are no unaccounted openings/penetrations. Confirm there are no exposed live parts that are readily accessible in lieu of tool or locking device.

  • Check inverter for any alarms and where possible, measure and record power (kW) being supplied. Add values in the Notes section.

  • Check the inverter for signs of deterioration in seals. Confirm: covers, dome nuts, hinges & handles installed and in good working order

  • Check the inveter for labeling required by codes and regulations.

  • Check the inverter for signs of insulation degradation.

  • Check the inverter for signs of corrosion or deterioration.

  • Check the inverter for unusual smells.

  • Where possible check all joints, connections and terminations for tightness; Tighten where necessary/possible.

  • Check for loose mountings; Tighten where necessary/possible.

  • Visually Inspect all mechanisms and indicating devices for signs of burning, overheating, misalignment or other damage and be cleaned or repaired as necessary.

  • Confirm there are no unterminated cables/conductors?

  • Inverter wiring/cabling adequately supported; cable ducts/trunking in good condition with covers in situ

  • Confirm inverter is clean?

  • Take x3 photos of switchboard before being cleaned

  • Take x3 photos of switchboard after being cleaned

  • Overall Condition Rating?
