  • Doors- check ledges for dust

  • Stationary- 2 headed paper, 2 envelopes, notepad and pencil, room service menu, guest directory, to channel guide, no smoking policy, to remote control, docking station and controller, Armagh tourist guide, fire evacuation plan, Gideons Bible

  • Bedroom and bathroom odour free and fresh

  • Floors- Check under bed making sure carpet is vacuumed, skirting must be dust free, tiles should be clean and dry

  • Windows- Glass should be clean and streak free, curtains clean and hanging properly

  • Ceilings- Should be cobweb free, any discolouration of ceiling, or painting required, inform maintenance

  • Walls- Make sure paint work is clean with no marks

  • Radiator- Check behind it and along the grooves to make sure it is clean and dust free

  • Lights- Make sure ALL lights, ceiling, strip, bathroom etc are operational, clean and dust free

  • Furniture- Headboard, tables, television, iron, make sure all are operational and clean, dust free. When checking the tables make sure the table legs are clean. Linen should be clean and ironed, drawers must all be clean and dust free, chairs should be clean and sitting uniformly.

  • Service Tray- Kettle must be both clean and empty. Crockery must be clean, cutlery polished, full stock of tea/coffee/sugar/milk/biscuits available

  • Wardrobes- Should be clean, dust free and empty. Check every shelf and rail for dust. Ensure all hangers are hanging uniformly.

  • Pictures- Should be clean on top with streak free glass

  • Bathroom- VIEW THROUGH THE EYES OF THE CUSTOMER. Check every surface for dust, dust, hairs etc. bath and shower must be clean with no streaks, taps polished, and the shower curtain and rail hanging clean and uniformly

  • Toilet- make sure the pedestal is clean inside and out, and underneath. Ensure toilet holder is clean, and plenty of paper available.

  • Vanity Unit- Make sure sink is clean and the taps are polished

  • Towels and Rails- Towels should be neatly folded and clean, check rails for dust and dirt

  • Supplies- Bath/hand towel, foot mat, shower cap, gel, paper hankies, bath oil, soap, shampoo

  • Air Vents- Make sure vent and grill are clean and dust free
