Cleaning Rota

  • Is there a cleaning rota, that is up to date, signed and followed?

  • Does the shift runner assign cleaning tasks at the beginning of the shift?

  • Check 6 jobs to confirm cleaning standards are within company guidelines (if more than 2 not to standard, then the answer is no)

  • Are the jobs being completed and then signed off by the Team Member after SR has checked?

  • Is the cleaning filed in the restaurant for audit purposes?

  • Are all customer areas clean and welcoming to the customer?

Figure of 8

  • Has the shift runner carried out a figure of 8 walk through, with any customer facing issues recorded?

  • Have the issues recorded been rectified?

  • Do the Team Members understand what a figure of 8 walk is, and when they should be completed?

  • Are all maintenance jobs being recorded and auctioned on?

FSMS

  • Is the food safety book complete, and any anomalies highlighted for action and feedback?

  • Is there evidence that a forecasting tool is being used to forecast sales to the needs of the business?

  • Can the shift runner explain the forecast for the day?

  • Is the forecast displayed for the team's information?

Deployment

  • Is the deployment plan in line with the forecast and business needs for the day?

  • Is the deployment plan posted for the team to see, and are all the team in positions marked on the plan?

Maintenance

  • Are all jobs logged with the maintenance company?

  • Are all customer facing jobs acted on within 24 hours

Recruitment

  • Is the restaurant aware of the staffing needs?

  • Is there a recruitment plan in place to reduce team turnover?

Key Operational Actions

  • Is the store following the product policy and serving perfect fries?

  • Is chicken cleaning taking place to standard? Check thighs and ribs

  • Is the store using the correct packaging on all products?
