Objectives
-
The objective of this inspection process is to identify any damage or failures at the moment of delivery, box opening and first hands on these displays.
LED & LCD displays are fragile technologies and we can not afford to have these damaged and have the damage go undetected. This tool is designed to manage the potential damage caused in shipping and pin point the last delivery entity that handled the shipment.
For a single shipment, we may have two or three inspection reports if the product is shipped to several locations before reaching its final destination. The project team must keep all reports filed in the project record and must have quick access to bring these up for comparison when we uncover damage to pin point the facts about display condition.
