Washes off leak detection fluid from all fittings using clean water

Disconnects / removes the existing standpipe, where possible and seals the standpipe entry

Question - What action should be taken if it is not possible to remove the standpipe?

Answer -The standpipe should be left in-situ and capped off and labelled to indicate service disconnected

Seals any abandoned service pipe ends in the ground using suitable caps

Checks properties to confirm that all supplies have been isolated
