Discuss the following with employees at the site and check the checkbox.

  • ZERO INJURY Expectation. Remind Foreman, Chief and/or Lead of EMCOR-Fluidics expectation that all work must be conducted with the expectation of Zero Injuries.

  • Lock Tag Out - Remind employee to always Lock Out and Tag Out all sources of energy, (electrical, pneumatic, rotating, fuel, etc) and verify zero energy state BEFORE commencing work.

  • PPE - Remind employee that eye, face, hand and head protection is mandatory when performing tasks. Review the statement "IF YOU ARE WORKING, YOU ARE WEARING" !

  • Ladders - Remind employee to inspect ALL ladders, (Fixed - Is it properly secured, , A-Frame, Extension) BEFORE using. Do not use if defective). And always maintain three points of contact when using.

  • Remind employees to always inspect hand, power and battery operated tool prior to using. Remove from service if defective. Always use the right tool for the task.

  • Pre-Task Planning Checklist - Remind employee to utilize the Pre-Task Plan Checklist, (New and prior completed ones), before executing a task.

  • Fall Protection - Remind employees that fall protection is required for any unprotected edges 6 or more feet above the ground. Contact Safety Office for site fall protection review if necessary.

  • Unsafe Conditions - Review with the employee any unsafe conditions present at the site. Contact Safety Department of necessary for support.

  • Fleet Safety - (If Applicable to the Site/Employee). Remind employee to always wear seat belts, and perform vehicle checklist. Report any problems to Fleet Manager.

  • Training and Qualification - Remind employee to never begin a skilled task or operate equipment such as manlifts or forklifts unless properly trained and qualified.

  • Alcohol, Drugs and Firearms - Remind employee that use of illegal drugs, alcohol and carrying of fire arms on sites and fleet vehicles is prohibited. Post accident Drug and Alcohol testing is conducted for injuries and fleet vehicle accidents.
