Visual inspection should be carried out in a manor where no physical contact is made with any part of equipment, this remains when asset is in serviceable condition or under a CAT failure. Definitions of Categories:- CAT 1- Danger present, risk of injury, immediate remedial action required. CAT 2- Potentially dangerous- urgent remedial action required. CAT 3 - Improvement needed. RECOMENDATION - Asset need improvement but no urgent danger. SERVICABLE - Asset in good condition if Maintenace is continued.
