CONDUCTING TSU SERVICE

  • Is the operative wearing or has in their possession all required PPE for this task?<br> Latex Gloves to wear under Red Nitras Gloves / Bump Cap or Helmet / Eye protection / Face and Mouth protection / Safety Boots / Hi-Vis / Company Uniform.<br>

  • Does the operative position themselves correctly on the trucks raised platform; i.e.: behind the protective barrier / guard rail?

  • Does the operative check the service panel for defects or new damage?

  • Are correct manual handling techniques applied when deploying the toilet pipe from the vehicle?

  • Is the waste suction hose connected properly and checked to ensure it is locked in position?

  • Is the system washed through with blue rinse after decanting the waste?

  • Does the operator make repeated discharges to ensure the blue-rinse chemical has washed through and been discharged correctly?

  • Does the operative check to ensure that no spillage of blue rinse or waste has occurred during this process?

  • Are all waste pipes and flush-through pipes disconnected from the pre-charge positions and stowed correctly on the TSU?

  • Does the operator clean and dry the service panel?

  • Is a banksman used when driving away from the Aircraft?
