Safety and suitability

  • Is there any damaged equipment or broken furniture? Has this been reported? Ensure checking of tears in upholstery.

  • Are there any damaged walls, skirting boards or windowsills? suck as cracks, paint damage or holes. Are the kitchen work tops free from damage and all sealant effective?

  • Are they any electrical issues? Such as lights flickering, not working or any heating issues?

  • Are all floors/carpets clean and free from damage. Do any require a deep clean/shapoo

  • Garden walk - are all fences surrounding the property secure and free from damage? Is the garden free from litter or items that could cause harm? Dose the garden require any pruning/tree surgery?

Bedroom Audits - When Inspecting the Bedrooms, Please ensure that you check under the mattress and both side. Check in all drawers and wardrobes making note of any damage recording what the issue is. Any not fixed cupboards/drawers, please move and look behind them. Check flooring and sealant in the bathrooms for any damage or potential infection control issues.

  • Any damage/repair/cleaning needed for carpet/flooring windows/window closers and skirting boards?

  • Cleanliness of the room and any initial actions taken?
