  • Wipe and align all tables and chairs

  • Grab the mop and bucket from the back section for the FOH (wooden Handle) fill up with hot water and one lid of Bleach then a lid of clothing softener and you will be ready for mopping from the back to the beginning of the toilets. leave the mop around the back door for more mopping for the middle section until customers have left the middle section

  • Must add one lid of floor cleaner to the mop everyday, otherwise the whole cafe will smell of bleach

  • Water bottles filled up and wiped down

  • Place the yellow sign in front of the back section so customers will know that its a closed section

14:30 BAR AREA & CLEANING THE COFFEE MACHINE

  • Backflush at least 1 group head with chemical & close that head for the day

  • Clean the filter coffee filter basket & jug

  • Organise the sink area

  • send both blenders for the kitchen to run through the dishwasher

  • Take all rubbish out & place new bag in the bins for tomorrow if at end of day, bin is only half full, tie the bag up and re-use tomorrow.

  • Outside tables and chairs, stools and benches to be brought back inside

14:55

  • Back flush the second group head and close for the day

  • Turn off pie warmer and place new baking paper for tomorrow

  • Clean milk fridge with spray on top and doors / glass)

15:00

  • Turn off music & amp

  • Close containers, put open bottles of milk in the fridge

  • Close & lock windows and front door at 15:00 unless a customer is waiting for anything

  • Clean coffee machine thoroughly

  • Brush leftover coffee and clean grinders and puq press (cleaning mode)

  • Flip the towel to a clean side or get a new one if needed

  • Wash drip tray

  • Clean jug rinser with hot water and chemical

  • Place any milk crates outside next to the side door

  • Mop the floor

  • Make sure chairs are left on top of the bench and we mop all the way under this section

  • Bring in the pastry labels and the the board inside

  • Make sure lids, tablets etc. at the window are neat and organised

END OF DAY REPORT

  • Do the EOD report in the POS

  • Final cash balance is under or over less than $10

  • Make sure we have added customer and staff feedback in the Google Sheets report

WE MUST MAKE SURE BEFORE LEAVING

  • ALL doors and windows have been locked and double checked

  • Turn off the screen of the iPads & tablets

  • Turn off all the lights including the toilets

  • Turn off aircon in middle and back rooms

  • Please make sure you check all the windows and front door are locked and enjoy the rest of your day.
