GENERAL SAFETY

  • Electrical outlets are are adequate (no overloads/unapproved or multiple extension cords).

  • Extension cords are in safe operating condition.

  • Team member areas are free of visual fire hazards or violations.

  • Electrical panels have a minimum of 36" of clearance.

GENERAL ENVIRONMENTAL CONTROLS

  • Carpets/rugs are clean without rips, tears, bumps, runs.

  • Uncarpeted areas are clean, slip-resistant & in good repair.

  • Warning signs/mats are provided when floors are wet.

  • Restrooms are clean, sanitary and properly stocked.

  • Team member areas are clean and sanitary.

  • Water fountains are clean, sanitary and working.

  • Work areas are vermin, rodent and insect free.

  • Waste receptacles are emptied regularly.

  • Walls and woodwork are clean.

EGRESS

  • Emergency exit doors are clearly marked.

  • Devices/alarms are installed and functioning so they do not imped emergency egress.

  • Doors are hung to be readily opened from the egress side when the building is occupied.

  • Emergency and exits function properly.

  • Closed stairs are provided with a handrail on at least one (1) side.

  • Access to not readily visible exits is marked by readily visible signs.

  • Means of egress are free of obstructions/impediments.

  • Stairwells are adequately lit.

MAINTENANCE INSPECTION

  • Doors/locks are in good working order.

  • Air conditioning ducts and vents appear to be clean upon visual inspection.

  • Ceiling tiles are intact, undamaged and in place.

  • Facility is free of weather damage, mold growth, moisture intrusion, etc.

  • Windows are free of cracks/damage.

  • Outside of the building is free of any obvious safety concerns.

  • Outdoor lights are in good working order.

  • Parking lot is free of any safety concerns (uneven pavement, overgrown landscaping, etc).
