Completion Information

  • During your initial training 8 week training, you will spend time in the field between training days. These days will give you an opportunity to spend time with and get to know your manager, your mentor and other members of your team.

    As part of these field days you will get an opportunity to put into practice what you learn during training and also observe what your mentor does. Your field days will vary depending on what your manager plans for you.

    Use this document to record what you have done during your field days so you can discuss this and and questions you may have when you return to training. You can add photographs as well as text.

Health and Safety/PPE

  • IN LINE WITH OUR HEALTH AND SAFETY REQUIREMENTS IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT YOU USE ALL OF YOUR OWN SAFETY EQUIPMENT PROVIDED DURING YOUR FIELD DAYS. YOU SHOULD NOT UNDERTAKE ANY TASKS THAT YOU HAVEN'T YET BEEN TRAINED ON, SUCH AS LADDER WORK OR WORKING AT HEIGHTS.

  • You must ensure you take your gloves, hard hat and hi via jacket and all required H&S equipment.

Training

  • You, your mentor and your manager will be issued a copy of your training schedule so everyone is aware of your training days and what has been covered. A summary of the dates is below. Please ensure that you only undertake tasks you have already been trained on when you are on your field days.
