• Prior to attending your 1 day Sky Q training, please use this document to capture your answers to the pre-course work.
  
  This document should be completed in conjunction with watching the videos provided and reading the relevant articles in iKnow2.
  
  The pre-course work is split into 4 sections, for each section, please watch the relevant video, read the relevant iKnow2 articles referenced then answer the questions. You will find the videos in the fileshare location that was used for the recent team meeting materials. For best performance, please save the videos to your own laptop rather than watch them from the fileshare location.
  
  There is also a link to a TED video that we would like you to watch and answer the relevant questions

  The pre-course work should take approximately 2hrs to complete.
  
  We will incorporate this pre-course work into your 1 day face to face training, so remember to bring this on the day.
  
  Please note, this is not a test of your knowledge but to familiarise you with some of the main the Sky Q processes, so if there is anything you are unsure of it will be covered in your training.

Section 1 - External Work - Dish/LNB/Cable

• Please watch the Dish/LNB/cable video and read the following articles on iKnow2:
  
  - "Skymaster 3 (Rover Meter)" - specifically SAT Finder to Data Loggers
  
  After watching the video and reading the article, please answer the following questions.

• What differences did you notice on this Sky Q job compared to a Sky+ install?

• If you observed this engineer, what feedback would you provide and why?

Section 2 - Internal Work - Sky Q & Sky Q mini box installation

• Please watch the Sky Q box installation video and read the following articles on iKnow2:
  
  - "Sky Q Box Installation Guide"
  - "Sky Q Mini Box Installation Guide"
  - "Sky Q Remotes (incl. accessibility)"
  
  The following articles would also be useful for you to read prior to attending training, even though you may not see this directly in the video.

  - "Installing a Sky Q Booster to help with connecting a Sky Q box to broadband"
  
  After watching the video and reading the articles, please answer the following questions.
  
  

• What are the key differences you noticed between Sky Q and Sky + in terms of the installation of the customer's boxes?

• What do you think "good" would look like in terms of an enduring install?

• What do you think are the key aspects of the install that you would need to consider on any post checks?
