1. Plan to a Contribute to a coordinated HV live Line team

  • 1.7 Have all resources for the task been identified, scheduled and coordinated and confirmed to be in a safe and technical working order.

  • 1.8 Did the candidate include all personnel participating in the task, including plant operators, and contractors fully brief and inform them of their responsibilities.

  • 1.9 Did the candidate liaise and communicate with other authorised personnel, authorities, clients and land owners are resolved and activities coordinated

2. Carry out the contribution to coordinated HV live line work.

  • 2.1 Was WHS and sustainable energy principles and practices used to reduce the incidents or accidents and minimise waste nd then also monitored and actioned where necessary.

  • 2.2 Does the candidate have knowledge of first aid, rescue and other related work procedures are performed according to requirements and/or procedures.

  • 2.3 Did the candidate ensure that all lifting, climbing, working aloft, use of power tools, techniques and practices were safely exercised during the task.

  • 2.4 Ha s the candidates ensured that all permits and other provisions are in place.

  • 2.5 Did the candidate display the essential knowledge and associated skills in the safe contribution to coordinated HV live work to ensure completion in an agreed timeframe and to quality standards with a minimum of waste

  • 2.6 Has the candidate ensured that work is undertaken on HV live line in a team environment and work according to the work schedule.

  • 2.7/2.8 Did the candidate conduct a prejob discussion and discussed the roles of each team member, hazards and safety signs

  • 2.9/2.10 Was it discussed and made aware of in the event of an unplanned event, certain safety procedures are to be utilised and rectified by essential knowledge and associated skills.

  • 2.11 Did the candidate observe the task and ensure that the work is in accordance with safety procedures and ensure a quality like outcome for all involved to an industry standard.

Complete the contribution to High Voltage Live Line work

  • 3.1 Did the candidate ensure that the work undertaken is checked against works schedule for conformance with requirements and anomalies are reported and solutions identified in accordance with requirements

  • 3.2 Does the candidate know the procedure if there is an incident/accident.

  • 3.3 Has the worksite been restored to be in a safe state when task completed

  • 3.4 Did the candidate ensure that all tools equipment and surplus materials are cleaned, checked and returned to storage.

  • 3.5 Has the candidate ensured that all work permits are signed off and the Network Operator is advised that Work is complete.

  • 3.6 Has the candidate ensured that works completion records and reports are completed and appropriate personnel notified

  • 3.7 Did the candidate conduct a post job debrief discussed the process of the job and if any improvements needed
