Emergency Systems Tests

General Information

  • In conjunction with the scheduled fire drills, the emergency systems on site will be tested for functionality. These systems include;

    - Emergency Voice Communication Systems (Refuge Areas)
    - Smoke Ventilation System

    It is important to test these systems for functionality.in order to ensure that they will work effectively in a real emergency if required.

Test of Emergency Voice Communication System

  • Test all of the site Emergency Voice Communication boxes in each refuge area to ensure functionality. Ensure that communications from each refuge point can be easily heard from the EVC Panel telephone at the main entrance, and that clear communications can be established and heard from both ends of the line.
