FMG GENERATOR ROTABLE REPAIR COMPLETION CHECK LIST

1. UNIT

• Unit clean and bund drained

• Bund sealed and functional

• Panel condition acceptable for age

• Access doors sealing and latches in working condition

• Decals present and legible

• Sound insulation fitted and in good condition

2. COOLING

• Radiator/coolers clean and core fins in good condition

• Cooling hoses in good condition

• Engine fan in good condition and installed with correct orientation

• Coolant level correct and meets specification

• Radiator cap fitted and in good condition

• Coolant low level protection fitted and functioning

• Cooling system passed pressure test

• Cooling system functioning as designed

• All guards fitted and in good condition

3. ENGINE

• Engine shows no evidence of leaks

• Oil level correct

• Engine driven belts in good condition and correctly tensioned

• All electrical connections tight and free of corrosion

• All cables and harness secure and protected from rub points / hot spots

• Engine mounts secure and in good condition

• Engine breather run to outside of radiator

• Intake hoses in good condition

• New air cleaner(s) fitted

• Exhaust secure and free from leaks

• Exhaust lagging fitted and in good condition

• Exhaust rain cap fitted and functional

• All guards fitted and in good condition

4. ALTERNATOR

• Alternator clean

• Mounts secure and in good condition

• All cables and harness secure and protected from rub points / hot spots

• All electrical connections tight and free of corrosion

• All guards fitted and in good condition

5. CONTROL PANEL

• Panel functioning correctly

• Parameters checked and set correctly

• All displays/gauges operational and legible

• Door secure and functional

• All components checked and operational

• All electrical connections tight and free of corrosion

• All cables and harness secure and protected from rub points / hot spots

6. TESTING

• Engine test results supplied and expectations achieved

• Alternator load test results supplied and expectation achieved

• Alternator resistance and insulation test results supplied and expectation achieved

• Outlet test results supplied and expectation achieved

• Electrical tagging in date and attached

7. TRANSPORT READY

• Fuel removed

• Marechal plugs removed, wiring made safe, plug inside unit and hole covered

• Rain cap tapped closed

• Storage protection measures in place
