  • Daily DD is up to date, and Weekly DD is on track.

  • Concession standards are all strong, and anything which doesn't look right is challenged and raised to the manager.

  • Are the uniforms of all Fresh Concessions Team Members and Temps adequate?

  • All Counters clean, at the front as well as behind the Counter.

  • Tickets and pricing clear on all products and offers.

  • Concession Team Members & Temps displaying the correct behaviours, ready to serve and not ignoring customers.

  • Are all Counters full stocked, and ready to trade?

Grocery

  • Are the walkway tables to a good standard, full, with the correct ticketing and impact?

  • Is the Skinny End full, with the right product on it and presented well?

  • Are the Gondola Ends filled, with the right message (think seasonality/events) with a bold display?

  • Are the Chilled and Ambient Drinks areas full, being replenished at the right time of day (before peak) with good standards?

  • Is the walkway to Lower Ground food clear of cages and stock that isn't in use?

Bakery

  • Check standards, cleanliness, ticketing and overall displays. Is the merchandising strong enough for the time of trade?

  • Have the PM markdowns been applied? Are they the right markdown? Is it the right time?

  • Is the Department manned, and with a visible presence?

  • Is the DD up to date, and clean as you go in action?

  • Observe customer service - are there any issues that need raising? Are the team delivering extraordinary customer experiences?

  • Have temperature checks been completed? They should be done in the AM and the PM.

  • Have cleaning checks been completed?

  • Have chiller checks been completed?

  • Are markdown sheets completed, and live? Any stock concerns?

  • Are the counters display standard good enough? All areas filled and manned?

  • Are the sheets dated correctly and signed?

  • Is the a shopfloor corridor clear?

  • Is the packaging room clear and tidy?

  • Check standards, cleanliness, ticketing and overall displays. Are the walkway ends to a good standard, full and have the correct ticketing.

  • Is the Department manned with a minimum of 2 associates, and with a visible presence? Is there one person at the front at all times?

  • Is the DD up to date, and clean as you go in action? Are the sheets dated correctly and signed? Have stock rotation and date checks been completed?

  • Wine Shop stock room – to be checked for debris, cleanliness and organisation. Is the corridor clear and all stock put away? Have all new beer deliveries been logged?

  • Is JJ Fox manned from open and displaying the correct behaviours, ready to serve and not ignoring customers? Are their displays full, clean and looking good?

Service

  • AM - Cash Run has happened, and all tills are working? Senior chasing up any tills that aren't.<br>

Serviced

  • Tills cleaned, areas surround cleared and ready for trade.

  • Concierge desk is clean and tidy.

  • Daily planner is set up, and cover is communicated to Duty Manager and strong enough for trade.

  • Bags are replenished and organised.
