Day 1

  • Team Member has been qualified through interview process?

Day 4

  • New Team member has spent the day with Buddy on their feet observing lift movement and how things are run on the floor?

Day 5

  • Has the trainer/new hire/ buddy met at start of day to discuss any thoughts or concerns each may have?

  • Concerns or questions have been addressed before moving further into the training?

  • Buddy from previous day is now on floor and New Team Member is on lift begining "light" work. Buddy is available to help all day.

Day 6

  • New Team Member is now placed on lift where light work was applied previous date. Work will continue with Buddy available in area if needed.

Day 7

  • New Team Member continues to drive in area of training today.

  • At end of day 6 Team Member, Supervisor and/or Manager meet to discuss progress and if further training is required or what the next steps should be. -Notes from this meeting.

Days 8-11

  • Continued operation in trained area with follow up meeting at the end of each day with Supervisor to disscuss any issues or questions that may have come up from either New team member, Supervisor, or buddy/trainer about performance and operation of lift.

Day 30

  • Observation conducted by Manager on top of normal observations that have been completed in the area for the New team member. If Red Items occur the team member is removed from lift and retrained to all Red Item areas.

  • Quiz of Red Item Areas from previous dates observation followed up on and operator has corrected? If not corrected or improved further training or possibility of termination should be considered depending upon the severity of the infraction at the discretion of the Manager(s)
