Perimeter, Greenbelt, Parking Lots, Other Non-Process Areas

  • 1. Trash - There is an absence of trash (paper, debris, accumulations of cigarette butts, etc.) in all audit areas.

  • 2. Potholes - There is an absence of large potholes or depressions (none larger than 5" or 127mm wide and / or deeper than 3" or 76.2mm) in each audit area.

  • 3. Standing Water - All audit areas are free of evidence of standing water.

  • 4. Facility Access - There are effective measures in use to restrict access into the facility (guards, fencing, monitored remote access and / or locked gates with minimal damage).

  • 5. Fire Lanes - All fire access lanes are unobstructed, and all fire-fighting equipment is accessible and unobstructed.

  • 6. Signage - Signage is in place and in good condition that indicates stop, speed limits, traffic flow, underground utilities, restricted areas, and NOV.

  • 7. Storage - Perimeter, Greenbelts, Parking Lots, and other Non-Process Areas are free of equipment, tools, and other stored items.

  • 8. Cleanliness - All walkways , roadways, parking areas, and grassy areas are clean, free of any large spills and stains (no stained areas > 5" or 127mm diameter), and show evidence of regular cleaning.

  • 9. Lighting - Adequate lighting is provided and is sufficient in all audit areas.

  • 10. Landscaping - There are no dead trees, and grass / weeds is less than 8" or 203mm high.

  • 11. Parking - All vehicles are properly parked in the designated spots.

  • 12. Overall Appearance and Condition - The overall appearance of audit areas is aesthetically pleasing, and there are no unabated slip or trip hazards in walking areas.
