Your chair does not have to be an ergonomic office chair if it is a temporary arrangement or you are working from home on an infrequent basis. It just needs to be comfortable and right for you, providing the right support. A good quality dining chair may be sufficient for short term / ad hoc use. For more permanent fixtures, a height adjustable chair is recommended.
